YOU DON'T LIKE SUPER SWEET ICING? NEITHER DO WE!

We don't use American Icing on our cakes, instead we use our own Swiss Meringue Buttercream recipe. WHAT IS SWISS MERINGUE BUTTERCREAM? Swiss Meringue Buttercream is made by whipping a mixture of egg whites and sugar that has been gently heated in a double boiler until the sugar dissolves and the egg whites are cooked. The egg white mixture is then whipped up into a beautiful glossy meringue. Cubes of butter are then gradually added to the meringue. It’s a more complicated process to make than American buttercream but this technique is simply not-too-sweet and satiny-smooth. An ultimate classic buttercream that is light, delicious and buttery. All of our cakes are covered in Swiss Meringue Buttercream. The key is to enjoy it at room temperature.
